5 MW roof project Fiere di Parma
Location: Parma (Emilia-Romagna), North Italy
System Size: 5 MW
Type of installation: Roof PV system
Type of modules: Conergy Powerplus
Developer: Conergy Italy
The photovoltaic system that Fiere di Parma has commissioned to Conergy Italia has a total power of 5 MW and it is one of the largest photovoltaic system on the roof of Italy. On approximately 44,000 m2 (net area 35,312 m2) there were placed 21,714 polycrystalline photovoltaic modules Conergy PowerPlus of 230-watt, connected to 12 three-phase IPG 300C inverters and 4 IPG 200C inverters. The plant will be monitored by Conergy VisionBox, that allows continuous monitoring and remote use.
The photovoltaic system will produce 5,498.30 MWh / year of clean energy, saving the burning of 1264.61 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) and avoiding the emission of 2914.10 tonnes of carbon dioxide for year.
The design of this solar park provides a breakdown of the system in three sections, in order to allow the connection to the electricity grid will be completed the individual sections: July 30 was completed the first part; August 30 the second and third, following the dictates of the decree of May 6.
2.8 MW BIPV System with ISI Fit Integrated Support Structure
Location: Pontenure (Piacenza), North Italy
System Size: 2.8 MW
Type of installation: Roof PV system with ISI Fit - Integrated System Infrastructure
Type of modules: Polycrystalline silicon
Developer: Making Energy
Making Energy has been appointed to install a 2.8 MW crystalline roof top solar system on the warehouse roof of UPIM, in Pontenure (Piacenza, North Italy). The solar installation, which covers 63,000 square meters, is one of the largest totally integrated PV systems in Europe. The roof installation has used ISI Fit technology, an industrial solution which guarantees ideal conditions for electrical connection and total architectural integration of photovoltaic system, giving access to the highest feed-in-tariff provided by the previous Italian law “Conto Energia”.
